Financial threat predictions for 2022

2021 is the second year we have had to live through huge changes in both our personal lives and at work. Remote work and regular lockdowns mean have meant more online communication instead of interpersonal conversations. Financial threats have seen change over the past year. Yet, they remain one of the key cyberthreats to both individual users and organizations.

Still, in this new and uncertain era we can still learn from this experience and look to the future to minimize the dangers of threats to come. As per tradition, Dmitry Bestuzhev, Head of Kaspersky’s Global Research and Analysis Team (GReAT) in Latin America will once again, share key takeaways from the financial threat landscape of 2021 and the company’s predictions for 2022.

In addition, our guest speakers, Angelo La Penna, CISO at Swiss Re and Anichses Moraes, cyber evangelist at C6 bank will share their take on financial threats we have seen in 2021 and what may come in 2022 in a panel discussion moderated by Dan Demeter, Senior Security Researcher in Kaspersky’s GReAT. The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session where attendees can ask questions to the speakers.

During the webinar, attendees will learn about:

  • The key financial threats-related events that occurred in 2021
  • The latest techniques and tactics used by targeted attack groups who specialize in stealing money from financial institutions
  • The cyberthreats the financial industry should anticipate in 2022

This webinar will be of interest to banks, credit unions, brokerage firms, insurance companies and other types of financial organizations.
